Health Care Industry Mounts Attack on Medical Regulations
Lobbyists from the health care industry are attempting to weaken or delay the implementation of regulations adopted during the final weeks of the Clinton administration. Among other things, the rules specify that health care providers must obtain consent before using or disclosing patients' medical records.
