Senate Passes Bankruptcy Bill With Privacy Protection
The Senate Bankruptcy Bill would provide greater protections to individuals who reveal personal information to a company that later files for bankruptcy. Under the bill, a company that had promised never to transfer individuals� information could not later use the information as a transferable asset in bankruptcy without judicial approval.
