Business and information brokers are selling individuals� personal information on their prescription drug purchases, credit information, civil and criminal legal information, professional licenses, property ownership, marriage and divorce records, and retail purchases. This information is culled from public records, catalog and online purchases, credit reports, product warranty cards, and consumer surveys.
