Eli Lilly Settles FTC Privacy Investigation
Eli Lilly, a pharmaceutical company, has settled a privacy violation investigation with the FTC. Last year, Lilly inadvertently exposed the e-mail addresses of individuals who had signed up for updates on a mental health drug. Lilly had made prior guarantees of privacy and confidentiality in the e-mail addresses.
