FCC Solicits Comments on Telemarketing

The FCC has issued a notice of proposed rulemaking on the Telephone Consumer Protection Act of 1991 (TCPA), a federal law that regulates phone solicitations. The notice solicits comments on autodialers, identification technology, and on a national Do-Not-Call (DNC) list. Any individual may comment on the rule until December 9, 2002.
