US Greencard Holders Now Tagged with RFID Chips
LaserCard Corp will be providing the US Citizenship and Immigration Services agency with the new cards to track lawful residents. The State Department made a similar decision regarding the use of RFID in US Passports which was dramatically modified following public resistance to the proposal. War-driving tactics use to exploit unencrypted RFID tags continues to be a privacy threat.
